Storage and reconstitution basics
Keep compounds stable from delivery to your final assay with these handling fundamentals.

Lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptides are stable, but handling makes a big difference to results.
Before reconstitution
Store sealed vials cold and dark. For long-term storage, a freezer at -20°C is standard. Let vials reach room temperature before opening to avoid condensation.
Reconstitution
Bacteriostatic or sterile water is commonly used. Add the solvent slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently — never shake.
After reconstitution
Refrigerate at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe appropriate for the compound. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
For in-vitro research use only.
